I feel much better about the future since earlier today when I had an epiphany. Sometimes when I really need help it comes from surprising places. For instance, today during a session with a new, young person who came to me for guidance, it was she who told me exactly what I needed to hear. The purity of the love that emanated from her reminded me of the potential for optimism, and of the work that I can do to help others dance through the gyrations this country is going to go through. I am a spiritual person. When I reach out and ask for help I have every confidence in the quality and power that will come with the answer, and I have confidence, dear reader, that you will engage with your Higher Self, your wisest being, call it what or whom you may, and ask for what is needed. The radiance that accompanied the words of the young priestess today were like a gift from the gods, like medicine for my soul, and I can only wish the same for each of you.
I guess it's up to each of us to remember the co-creators we are and the tools we already have to lift ourselves and shape the future. And so I and you and all of us who are attempting to awaken and sustain awareness can choose to continue at every opportunity to redouble our efforts to stay on course, regardless of what we may perceive as insanity surrounding us.
The Future
It is in the service of truth, justice, harmony and peace, what ancient Egyptians called Ma'at, that I find myself making plans to continue teaching, although I sense a shift in the form that is as yet unclear to me. What I do know is that now, more than ever before, we have opportunities to share and to learn, or shall l say remember, from a wide ranging variety of spiritual adventures, some of which I would be honored to recommend.
Egypt
I love Egypt, and for me it has been the source of more magical epiphanies than I can count. If that seems like a stretch, consider that I have led more than 60 tours in the 38 years since I first went to Egypt with the Grateful Dead. Traveling through Egypt is like being struck by a tuning fork, with a different frequency rung at every sacred site. By the end of the tour, you will realize that the attunements that you have received will influence the space around you— they live in your bones and your aura, and will raise the vibrations that you emanate without having to say a word. In fact, for the first couple of decades I couldn't really articulate my experiences more than to say, much to the chagrin of my family, “This was the greatest trip EVER!”

I am making plans to continue teaching, starting with a teleclass in January. It will be a new class, Making Spirit Medicine, with just four sessions during the last couple of weeks in January, dates to be announced soon. It will include some Alchemical Healing, some important work with Medicine Buddha and Ma'at, a segment on the importance of working more deeply with our ancestors, and of course, some Mystery teachings. If requested at the time, I will try to extend it for two more sessions, but I am constantly reminded by my guides that I have to take it slower, so we'll have to play it by ear (LOL). There is so much to share and so little time!!!

In addition to the Alchemical Healers that are part of my team, I would like to introduce you to a teacher for whom I have great respect. He is the real deal and in touch with the magic. I had a really hard time addressing the election, so I just sidestepped the issue for the moment, to give me time to think it out and see what really happens here. Mark on the other hand, wrote the following:
This is for the anti-Trump people:
OK, the election is over and the Trump victory is almost too much to bear. What to do, what to do, what to do . . .
Some of us have health issues and must take a break from news sources for a while. Seriously, peace of mind isn't just a nice thing; for some of us it is a life or death thing, and the ramifications of a Trump White House on top of a Republican Senate and House of Representatives hits us like a depth charge.
But if you have the strength and need some place to put your distress fueled energy, now is the time to start organizing resistance for the bad things coming while fighting for the preservation of the good things that have evolved. Examples?
How do we preserve the right to vote for all?
Science classes can't become Sunday schools.
Stop closing women's health clinics, and reopen the ones we lost.
Keep out of our bedrooms.
Keep out of public restrooms.
Climate change is real—stop the stupid people who are
convinced it is a hoax
And that's just the tip of the melting iceberg.
In conclusion, the 2018 elections start now, from Congress to school boards.
Some kids too young to vote won a case in a federal court that gives them the right to argue in a federal court against the use of fossil fuels. This happened just yesterday. New laws pertaining to greenhouse pollution may be in the books before Trump takes the oath of office. Good things can and do happen.
