Thank you for all the heartfelt response and feedback regarding my last newsletter, in which I filled you in on where I'm at and my deep musings about possibilities for the future. Since then I've been working non-stop, and enjoying most every moment. I've also, with your sage help and advice, come up with some realistic projections that I hope will spark your interest.
This Year's Alchemical and Planetary Healing
Intensive Retreat AttendeesLooking closely at my options, it became clear that a nine-month or year-long commitment would not work, at least not for this next year. With two books coming out and my trips to Alaska and Egypt in 2015, the stress of creating such a school and figuring out the timing would be more than I'm willing to take on. I do appreciate those of you who were so ready and willing to sign up!
On the other hand, individual tutoring and occasional phone classes can be arranged as time allows, and the idea of small groups of friends choosing to work together on certain elements of Alchemical and Planetary Healing or the Egyptian Mysteries piques my interest. I can imagine creating custom package deals to sweeten the pot (or cauldron, as it were) for individuals or particular groups or circles that have a common interest. Please let me know if that sounds like something you and your friends might be interested in.
Sunset at the Temple of Goddess Spirituality in Cactus SpringsWhat I love most about private consultations, whether they are Anubis Oracle readings, Alchemical Healings, Shamanic Consultations, Egyptian Soul Retrievals, or simply one-on-one initiations as the subjects arise, is that it seems as though no matter what the subject, disease, or question, the work is always reciprocal— whatever is needed for the person(s) is just what I need to be doing and learning at that particular moment. It's like holding up a mirror for myself as well as for my client. So private and small group sessions are definitely desirable. I may not always be available, but I can almost always work something out, and with Skype, the video/phone call is free and it is as good as being in the same room. you can even see your cards if you are having a reading.
The New Sekhmet at the Goddess TempleAs for healing sessions, there is almost no difference. For example, it has always been a source of amazement to me that a psychic surgery done over the phone is no different than if we were in the same room, even though it holds up scientifically and follows the basic laws of physics. There is an intimacy that is often quite surprising the first time a person communicates energetically and spiritually in this way. It's the same with initiations and rites of passages from the books.
For some reason, people who might be shy to participate in a group find themselves way more uninhibited when they are speaking on the phone (with or without the video aspect), and are willing to go deeper and experience a greater range of perceptions. Perhaps it's because there are no distractions and they are in the comfort of their own home.
I went to Las Vegas for the consecration of the new Sekhmet statue at the Goddess Temple in Cactus Springs. The new statue is awesome—about 400 pounds of pure power, or sekhem, the mighty force for which the goddess is named. She is beautiful, and the temple in which she now sits is her perfect home. The ceremonies were over-the-top inspiring. It was the perfect preparation and inspiration for the Egyptian Mysteries retreat that Normandi Ellis and I will be doing in just a couple of weeks.

So—although it may not appear at first that I'm slowing down, I really am…at least by comparison. And it is my intention to continue further on the “less is more” theme, particularly when my two contracted books are completed.
