There is a bit of fall chill in the air, and another gorgeous, magical summer is about to complete here in Oregon, however all is not well in most of the world. The good news is that I have discovered a new tool to help mitigate some of the discord. I recently encountered a book that I think is you will find worthwhile and relevant.

Eldon Taylor, a former criminalist (Forensic Science Technician) and author of the New York Times best seller, Choices and Illusions, is one of the foremost researchers into the power of the mind and the mind/body connection. In his new book he gives keen insights into how our minds work, and about the efforts to control our thinking, and what we can do about it. His approach is both scientific and down-to-earth, and his techniques are easy to implement into your own life. Thousands of individuals around the world have benefited from his teaching and this latest release, Mind Programming: From Persuasion and Brainwashing to Self Help and Practical Metaphysics, which condenses his 30 years of research into one comprehensive read.

Soon I will be heading down to California for EarthDance at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville September 25-27, where I will be introducing Becoming An Oracle in a workshop on Sunday, and participating in the Elders’ Council and Peace Prayer ceremony. Good music, good vibes, and good friends—can’t beat it!

One week later, October 2-4, I will be a featured speaker at the Women’s Visionary Congress will be gathering, also at Black Oak Ranch. I particularly love this congress because I get to meet and catch up with some of the most heroic women I’ve yet encountered—women who are at the forefront of the conscious movement, and who have been on the firing lines of some of the most important issues of our times.

In the meantime, I’m soaking up as much beauty and nourishment from my garden as I can, and putting together my schedule for next year.

Those of you who have studied Alchemical Healing with me, I’m finally offering the advanced practicum as promised: January 15-18, here in Eugene. You are welcome to stay at my home on a first come, first served basis. This will be a small, intimate setting where folks who have a working knowledge of the form, and have taken at least one class or intensive retreat with me or one of the other Alchemical Healing teachers, can learn and practice Alchemical Healing techniques. There will be new techniques shared, as well as review for those wishing to deepen their skills. We will also focus on giving journeys, working with allies and akasha, and preparations needed for certification as a practitioner. Anyone wishing to teach the form should take advantage of this opportunity to expand and deepen their understanding and practice.

As an extra bonus, Roland, our beloved chef from Hawaii, will be here to cook for us. Yum!!!!!

The October tour to Egypt for writers with Normandi Ellis and Gloria Taylor Brown is full, however two places have opened up in the November tour that I am leading with my husband, Mark Hallert. This will be an exploration of the Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt from a new perspective and focus. If you want to be included, please connect with me through my office right away.
