Day 1, Thursday, November 4: Depart for Cairo:

EgyptAir Flight #986 leaves JFK at 6:30 PM. Overnight on the plane.

Mena House Oberoi, Giza EgyptDay 2, Friday, November 5: Arrive Cairo/ Welcome circle and dinner

Arrive at Cairo Airport at about 11:25AM local time where we will be met by our Tour Managers. They will assist us through customs and immigration before transferring us to our luxury accommodations at the Mena House Oberoi hotel. We’ll have an introductory circle and welcome dinner. Those coming in at other times will be informed of when and where our meeting will occur based on the actual arrival time of the New York group. (Dinner)

Ths Sphinx at GizaDay 3, Saturday, November 6: Giza Plateau/Sphinx/Meeting

We will begin this day with an amazing private sunrise visit to the Giza Plateau. During our first ritual we will pay our respects to the Sphinx, the guardian of the Mysteries. After breakfast we will meet for orientation and to introduce you to our guides and staff and answer any questions you may have. We will also begin our talks in preparation for the rites ahead.

Khan el khaliliKhan el khalili Bazaar, CairoDay 4, Sunday, November 7: Museum/Bazaar/flight to Aswan

This morning we will check out of the Mena house and visit the famed Cairo Museum, home to the most amazing collection of artifacts after which we will have lunch at a beautiful restaurant along the Nile. From the before our visit to the colorful Khan el Khalili Bazaar for an afternoon of fun and shopping on our way to the airport to catch our flight to Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5, Monday, November 8: Morning lecture/Elephantine Island

After our sumptuous breakfast buffet, we will meet with Joan and Nicki to discuss the mysteries and prepare for the initiations that will happen in the next couple of days. Khnum at Elephantine IslandKhnum at Elephantine IslandThere will be time to relax and enjoy our beautiful hotel spa and pool or see what modern day Aswan has to offer. Lunch is on your own— there is a lovely poolside restaurant at the hotel or you can find an exotic café in town. In the afternoon we sail by felucca to the temple of Khnum at the south end of Elephantine Island for a special initiation at the temple of Khnum. (Breakfast)

Temple of Isis at PhilaeSunrise at PhilaeDay 6, Tuesday, November 9: Aswan/Philae Isis

Nicki and Joan will lead us through a private sunrise meditation and ritual to receive the blessings of Isis at her beautiful island temple at Philae. This temple, moved piece by piece from a nearby island that was inundated when dam was built, represents a fusion of three great civilizations – Egyptian, Greek and Roman. The presence of Isis is palpable in the inner sanctum, the Holy of Holies of her temple. We will return to our hotel for breakfast and enjoy the pool or a massage before transferring to our cruise ship for lunch. The afternoon and evening are free to explore Aswan, and perhaps take in the Nubian Museum, which has an exquisite display of the rich history and artifacts of the region. Lunch and dinner are served on board our Sonesta Moon Goddess. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Group Circle at Kom OmboDay 7, Wednesday, November 10: Sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu/Moon Goddess

We have a free morning in Aswan before we have lunch on our boat as we sail north. We will gather on deck to share our experience and discuss the mysteries as we sail to Kom Ombo. There, we visit the temple of Sobek the crocodile god of strength, fortitude, fertility and rebirth, and Horus the son of Isis and Osiris. Here the work is about balancing the dark and light within. In the Templ at EdfuWe continue sailing to Edfu, where we will have a special private night visit to one of the most beautifully preserved temples in Egypt. Here we receive a powerful initiation with the falcon-headed god, Horus. We spend the night on our cruise ship. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Full day sail on the magical Nile to Luxor. This afternoon we will meet on deck or in one of the lounges to bind our circle with sharing and processing of our experiences. There is plenty of time to luxuriate on deck enjoying the timeless Nile beauty. Joan and Nicki will be available for lectures/discussions in accordance with the development of the mysteries and what is relevant in the moment. Overnight on cruise ship. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 9, Friday, November 12: Karnak/Sekhmet/Luxor Temple/St. George

Today we will visit one of the largest and most magnificent temple complexes in the world, Karnak. Although it was primarily built to honor the Theban triad, Amun, Mut and Khonsu, it has been home for more than 3,500 years to the living statue of the lioness goddess, Sekhmet, who will initiate us with her fierce compassion. (Breakfast. Lunch, dinner)

Hathor at HatchepsutDay 10, Saturday, November 13: Tombs of the Pharaohs/West Bank

The West Bank holds the tombs of the pharaohs and some of the most spectacular sites, including Der el Bahari, the funerary temple of the female pharaoh Hatchepsut. We will also visit the mortuary temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu. Check in to the lovely Sonesta St. George hotel This evening is free for you to explore the wonders of Luxor’s market. In the Templae at AbydosDay 11, Sunday, November 14: Abydos/Dendera

This morning we travel by bus to the temples at Abydos, dedicated to Osiris, husband of Isis and god of the underworld and regeneration. This temple complex rests next to and above the most ancient Osirion, one of the premier power places on the planet, and the perfect place for our next rite of passage. It also includes a more recent temple built by Seti I, which contains the most beautiful bas reliefs of any temple in Egypt. Later, we will visit Dendera where we will visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of love and joy, and receive her blessings. Overnight Sonesta. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Step Pyramid at SakkaraDay 12, Monday, November 15: Flight to Cairo/ Sakkara

Morning flight from Luxor to Cairo on EgyptAir. Depending upon arrival of flight, we will check into the Mena House before or after our visit to the step pyramid at Sakkara, the world’s oldest freestanding stone pyramid. Sakkara was the result of a vision by Imhotep, a renowned vizier, healer, and the architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III). This magnificent complex includes other Old Kingdom tombs and a temple of sound and healing, and is a perfect place for the completion of our spiritual work. Overnight Mena House (Breakfast, Lunch)

Camel Riders by the PyramidsDay 13, Tuesday, November 16: Great Pyramid

Free day to explore Cairo before our special private after-hours visit in the Great Pyramid with a culminating initiation in the King’s chamber. We will have a meeting prior to our Great Pyramid visit, timing to be announced. (Breakfast, Dinner)

The Great Pyramid lit by the SunDay 14, Wednesay, November 17: Free Day/Farewell/Closing Circle

Free day to explore Cairo and to shop, horseback ride or revisit sites. We can also arrange a tour of Old Cairo that includes a mosque, church and synagogue. We will come together in the late afternoon for our closing circle and farewell dinner. (Breakfast and farewell dinner)

Day 15, Thursday, November 18: Farewell to Egypt /Final Departure

Those not joining us on the Jordan Extension depart for New York on Egypt Air flight #985 at 10:10AM, and arrive in JFK at 3:15 PM. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Roan Odeon in Amman, JordanDay 15, Thursday, November 18: Cairo/Amman

For those continuing on to Jordan, after our early morning check-out from the Mena House, we transfer to the Cairo airport for our flight to Amman, Jordan. We are met and helped through customs, then taken on a city tour of Amman, including the Citadel, Roman Theater, the old Souk and other parts of old and new Amman. Overnight Amman. (B/D)

Day 16, Friday, November 19: Amman/Petra

Today we drive south along the King’s Way, one of the oldest trade routes in the world and visit the traditional burial site of Moses, the Byzantine Church of Mt. Nebo and Madaba, as we make our way to Petra. Overnight Petra. (B/D)

Early in the morning we start with a joyful ride on a Bedouin’s guided horse, passing through the narrow, fabled Siq, immense sandstone cliffs, which open out to reveal the lost Nabatean’s City of Petra. We continue on to see many ancient temples, royal tombs, roman theatres and homes. (B/D)

Day 18, Sunday, November 21: Amman or Petra/Cairo

Rest and integrate or return to Petra to explore further before heading to the airport for our evening flight to Cairo. (B)

Day 19, Monday, November 22: Cairo/New York

Final departure Flight to JFK 10:10am, arrive in JFK at 3:15pm.
