 Dear Friends,
This magic carpet we call time is carrying us at warp speed… Wheeeee can choose to be in a state of joy or fear (or the myriad of shades in between). I choose gratitude and joy! Particularly on this beautiful Oregon day with the calla lilies blooming and the scent of irises filling the air.
I'm enjoying playing in Facebook, however the magic carpet can get sucked into a serious vortex similar to a black hole. I can lose myself in it if I'm not careful. In moderation, Facebook is a great way to be a bit more intimate than with email, if you are sufficiently disciplined. Click here to join my circle of friends.
I'm still taking it easy this year while my back recovers, and I'm mostly sticking around home. However I'm good with the phone and web, and am planning a free Bridge for Healing Cancer this summer solstice, Saturday, June 20. I've been doing this every month or two for more than four years. People come on from all over the world to work on themselves or to support others. I've looked at my calendar and see that I can run a special for a limited number of private sessions during the month of June. I will engage with you in Alchemical Healing, shamanic counseling, or Anubis Oracle readings. Thankfully, I can do these by phone, or if you are in the area, we can work in my healing temple, or in the gazebo by the pond. My once yearly Alchemical Healing Intensive retreat is coming up here at my home in Eugene August 1-9. We've planted the garden this year with the retreats in mind, and will be serving more of our own food, prepared by our amazing chef, Roland Barker. Yes, the same multi-talented person of discriminating tastes who designs my websites and produces most of my music/meditation CDs. Alchemical Healing is the healing form through which my life's work as a healer is expressed. It is sourced in my relationship with my teacher, Thoth, and as such is related to my work in Egypt, and the Egyptian Mysteries retreats we have held here for the past dozen years or so.

Gloria Taylor Brown and I are considering starting a year-long Egyptian Mysteries program to expand the scope of this magical work and make it more available by combining in house retreats with web/tele-communications in between.  My journey home to Egypt has stirred such a profound awakening that for the first time in my life I truly have clarity about myself and my place in the world. I call it an awakening because for the previous 40 years I had been spiritually asleep; denying myself of my Self by the weight of sorrows, disappointments and disconnections, anxieties, depressions and the heartbreaks of life on the material plane. From time to time something in me would begin to stir and I would seek out a retreat, a reading, a class here or there but I never followed through with anything. I went through the first two initiations in Reiki, became a Certified Hypnotherapist, but always allowed myself to be pulled back down into the responsibilities of life.
Something had to give; somehow I had to crawl out from under the rock, put things in perspective and find a way to live a more authentic life. Or so I kept telling myself. Funny that aging makes us think more about the innocence of youth. How, I wondered, do I find my way back to my ‘original nature’ and what is that exactly?

 As we travel through the ancient land of Egypt, immersing ourselves in the shamanic magic of these archetypal principles, we will view the neteru through the prism of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology.
Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, a co-creation of Linda Star Wolf and Ruby Falconer, is a re-languaging of the ancient art of astrology. The result is a new perspective appropriate for a new age. Inherent in the myths and stories of shamanic Egypt is a description of our world as it existed before the shattering we collectively experienced many thousands of years ago. Encrypted in the language of western astrology is a description of the wounds we have suffered. This language has served us well, because we are a wounded planet. It is now time to move beyond our wounds, however, and embrace our wholeness. Shamanic Egyptian Astrology is a language of wholeness.

Our Bridge for Healing Cancer program presents phone bridge rituals conducted by Nicki Scully to heal and transform cancer. Whether you have cancer or want to assist and support those who are suffering from cancer, you are welcome to join our bridge. Participants from around the world meet by telephone for each bridge to practice an Alchemical Healing process during which we join together to create a vessel in the shape of a parabola. From this form, which is similar to a satellite dish, we receive potent healing energies and also transmit cancer cells outward in a safe and effective way. This is a free event.

Alchemical Healing Circle

The Alchemical Healing Circle is held on the first Wednesday of the month at Nicki's center in Eugene, Oregon.
For those of you new to Alchemical Healing, please come early at 6:30pm for the introduction. There is no charge for attending and everyone is welcome. It would be to your benefit to attend if:
- You would like to witness and experience this unique form of energetic healing. Alchemical Healing offers a creative set of shamanic tools, which align well with all types of healing modalities.
- You are new to the healing arts and are interested in finding out about different forms.
- You are looking for a way to assist your own healing with a particular illness, injury or emotional situation.
- You have had training in the art of Alchemical Healing and would like to practice your skills.
- You or someone you know is in need of some healing.
